Prosperity Challenge 1: Bad Swans Village

I’m sad to say that Bad Swans is no more.  The neighborhood started having too many glitches and I was afraid for my game.  I still am, to tell you the truth, but I’m starting a new Prosperity neighborhood and praying for the best.  Thank you for caring about my family’s stories with me!

This blog is a re-start of the first Bad Swans blog.  I had an age cheat installed which would have made the families all live three times as long, which would have had me playing them fo-eh-vah.  And removing the hack doesn’t work because any family created with the hack in place keeps it even if you remove it.

So…I deleted the first Bad Swans in its entirety, and have created a new Bad Swans.  This village is founded by 3 families.  This is in the response to The Sims 2 Prosperity Challenge from discordkitty on Mod The Sims.

So, why Bad Swans?  The first time my partner and I played Sims 2 Pets on PS2 years ago, when I was creating my first neighborhood, I asked my partner for a name because she’s always giving whacked-out names to things.  (She wants me to name a sim Bean Burrito but I have yet to cave.)  We had been to a park with paddleboats in a pond, and we had been attacked by two mean swans who tried to bite our feet and jump up on our boat.  We called out, “Bad swans!”  So of course when I asked for a name, this is the one she gave.  I thought it was just twisted enough.  And it really works with this neighborhood, which is surrounded by lakes with…you guessed it…bad swans all over them.

Bad Swans is being founded by 3 families:

The Archimedes – 5 members

The Bangkoks – 3 members

The Collywaddles – 2 members
